Depending on the configuration, the OCULUS motion tracker records up to 750 measured values per second and makes it possible to analyze every movement down to the smallest detail.
Dimensions: 7cm x 4.3cm x 1.4cm
Memory capacity: 12MB, approx. 12 hours of data recording
Weight: 35g
Battery life: 8 hours of operation at -20°C
Weatherproof: -20°C to 40°C with IP56 (protected against short-term submersion)
The OCULUS motion tracker is switched on using the multifunction button and automatically searches for GNSS (GPS) after starting. As soon as the tracker has received enough GNSS satellites, it starts recording the measured values. This is indicated by a rapid green flash. Outdoors, this usually takes 1-2 minutes. Double-click to stop recording, OCULUS then searches for an available WLAN to transfer the data. In the standard configuration (10HZ GNSS, 25HZ IMU) the tracker can record up to 12 hours of data. If the sampling rate is increased, the recording time is reduced. OCULUS can also be used indoors (without GPS), but the tracker must find a GNSS signal at the start of recording.
GNSS: muli-constellation GNSS module. Simultaneous recording of GPS, Galileo and Glonass satellites.
Sampling rate: 10HZ (10 values per second)
Position accuracy:1.5m
Speed accuracy 100km/h: 0.18km/h | 30Km/h: 0.9kmh
Built-in IMU sensors:
Gyro: Sampling rate: 12.5HZ - 2000HZ, value range: 15°/s - 2000°/s
Accelerometer: Sampling rate: 12.5HZ - 2000HZ, value range: 2G - 16G
Magnetometer: Sampling rate: 10HZ - 100HZ, value range: +-50 Gauss
The data is transferred via WLAN. After the recording has been ended by double-clicking, OCULUS searches for the previously configured WLAN. If this is found, the transfer to our server begins. Within a few seconds (depending on the internet speed), the data is available for evaluation in our app.
The WLAN is configured in a special mode that can be accessed via a key combination. OCULUS now lights up orange and sets up its own WLAN. As soon as you are connected to the WLAN, a login screen appears, similar to the ones you are familiar with from WLANs in hotels, for example. There you have the option of storing your own WLAN or mobile hotspot.
OCULUS can also be expanded with various BLE sensors such as a chest strap.
