The IRIS video sync adapter adds a high-precision timestamp to every frame of your video. This makes it quick and easy to synchronize videos and import data from the Timing / Oculus.

Weatherproof: -20°C to 40°C with IP54 (protected against splash water)
The functional principle of IRIS is similar to that of a timecode generator, which is used in film production to synchronize cameras. IRIS generates a special code containing information such as time and location and converts this into an audio signal. A GNSS module (GPS) is used for high-precision time synchronization and position determination.
The device is connected to the camera's microphone input via an AUX cable and plays this code into the left audio channel. The microphone remains audible in the right channel. The Lympik video analysis app filters out the code, processes it and only the microphone can be heard in the video.
Mounting
IRIS is attached to the camera using a cold-shoe adapter or 1/4 inch screw. This is a common standard and is supported by almost all video or DSLR cameras.
Charging
IRIS is charged via a micro USB connection. The charging time is approx. 2 hours
Supported cameras
All common video & digital cameras Prerequisite: Microphone input and MP4 as recording format. Also compatible with smartphones using an adapter.
