OCULUS

Motion analysis made easy
OCULUS is the GPS Motion Tracker from Lympik — designed for professional sports. It records motion data with a precision unattainable by conventional GPS devices: 10 measurement points per second for position and speed, 200 measurement points per second for acceleration, rotation and other IMU data. No manual analysis, no cable clutter. After training, OCULUS transfers all data in seconds via WiFi to the Lympik Web-App.

Why OCULUS?
OCULUS is a proprietary development from Austria: hardware, firmware and web app come from a single source, without compatibility issues. The combination of 10Hz GPS and 200Hz IMU in a compact device delivers a complete motion picture: where was the athlete, how fast, with what acceleration, with what body rotation — all captured synchronously. All GNSS systems in parallel — GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou — ensure maximum signal stability, even in difficult terrain. Operation is deliberately kept simple: one button press to start, one button press to sync. No training required, no IT knowledge, no manual post-processing. OCULUS can be used across all sports, with suitable mounting for every discipline, from alpine slopes to rowing.

How does Oculus work?
Step 1 — One-time setup: Configure your WiFi network (or smartphone hotspot) once in the OCULUS configuration.
Step 2 — Attach to athlete: Insert OCULUS into the included shirt or sport-specific mount.
Step 3 — Start recording: One button press. OCULUS immediately begins recording GPS position, speed, acceleration and rotation rate.
Step 4 — Stop recording & sync: Press again. OCULUS automatically connects to WiFi and transfers all data. Within seconds, they are available in the Lympik Web-App.
Step 5 — Analyze: Filter performance by athlete and run, compare speed curves, evaluate map and graph simultaneously — available within seconds.

What you can analyze
OCULUS captures the entire motion trajectory — not just finish times or individual split times, but every point along the course. Speed and position are recorded at 10Hz, acceleration and rotation rate at 200Hz. The result is a complete documentation of your performance. In the web app, multiple runs by an athlete can be directly overlaid, as absolute values or as a difference display that shows at a glance exactly where time was gained or lost. Speed-to-distance and speed-to-time are available simultaneously, combined with the map view. Sector times and average speeds are calculated automatically by the app, without manual post-processing.

Timing training
Cloud software for training
The Lympik web app has its own training module: easy to configure, directly in the browser. Set up the route in minutes — start, finish and any number of intermediate times. Athletes identify themselves via NFC chip, lift card or start number; each time is automatically assigned to the correct profile. Sector analysis, rankings and the entire training history are immediately available. Results can be shared via link, WhatsApp or QR code and exported as Excel.

Motion analysis
Cloud Software for Motion Data
It combines powerful sport-specific analytics with exceptional ease of use and enables coaches to gain detailed insights with just a few clicks. Predefined and customizable templates ensure consistent, comparable results across all training sessions and automatically process key figures such as speed, acceleration and split times. The result: professional-level performance analyses that are simple and efficient and are suitable for daily use in training.

Video analysis
Cloud Software for Video Analysis
It combines synchronized video recordings and performance data to make technical details visible and measurable in every movement. Trainers can review scenes frame by frame, compare athletes side by side and display important key figures such as speed or split times directly into the video. The result is clearer feedback, faster corrections, and more effective, data-driven training.
More than motion analysis
OCULUS unfolds its full potential in combination with Lympik solutions for timing and video analysis. Through synchronization of precise timing data with speed, motion and video information, every run becomes analyzable in complete performance context. Together, timing, tracking and video analysis form a powerful, fully integrated system — for holistic performance analysis from the first impulse to the finest detail.
