END-OF-COURSE RACE
MADE EASY
No expert knowledge, no paperwork, no stress. With CHRONOS and the Lympik Web-App, you can set up your end-of-course race in minutes – from the start list to the printed certificate.
The Challenge of Ski School Races
End-of-course races are the highlight of every ski course – but the preparation takes a disproportionate amount of time. Timing equipment that no one knows how to operate. Times that have to be written down by hand. Results lists that take hours to compile in Excel. Certificates that are filled out manually. It doesn't have to be this way.

Ski Schools Need:
Quick setup without technical knowledge
Automatic participant identification
Real-time results list without rework
Integration with existing ski school software
Certificate printing
Everything for your end-of-course race – in one system
Easy operation – 4 buttons, that's it
CHRONOS works with just four buttons: Setup, OK, X – done. No training time, no timing experts, no manual that nobody reads. Ski instructors set up the system themselves, directly on the slope. If you can use a smartphone, you can use CHRONOS.
With just a few clicks, you can configure timing conveniently in the Web-App. This can be done directly on the slope or beforehand on a PC. Thanks to the adjustable reference time or reference run, false triggers are a thing of the past.

Flexible athlete identification – the way that suits your school
CHRONOS identifies racers in several ways: NFC chip, lift pass, customer card, or classically by start number and name. The start marshal simply enters via smartphone or tablet who is starting – even completely without a chip. Every ski school can choose the method that best fits their operation.
Thanks to live data from our CHRONOS devices and the clear display in the Web-App, you always keep track during the race. Not only are all recorded run times displayed, but also the next racer who is about to start.

Automated results list – without manual assignment
As soon as a racer crosses the finish, the time is in the Web-App. No notebook, no time table, no manual matching. The results list sorts automatically – by category, best run, most consistent run, or combined run times. Corrections are possible at any time: if a child missed a gate, this can be recorded with a few clicks and the results list updates immediately. Results can be displayed live on a TV or display board – METIS adapters for Alge display boards and LED video walls are supported. What used to take hours is now done in real-time.

Certificate printing & ski school software
Directly from the results list: certificates with name, category, placement, and time – automatically populated, instantly ready to print. No manual filling, no matching, no errors. You don't need to recreate the start list. Simply export it from your existing ski school software and import it via CSV, JSON, or XLSX directly into the Lympik Web-App. Direct interfaces exist with Skizeit and Skischulsoftware Waldhart – other systems via standard formats.

How it works
1. Setup
Import start list or create it directly in the app. Configure the course, turn on CHRONOS, done.
2. Measure Times
CHRONOS measures automatically. Racers identify themselves via NFC chip, lift pass, or start number – or the start marshal enters the name manually. Every time is immediately assigned to the right person.
3. Analysis
The results list updates in real-time. The next starter is always visible. DNF, DSQ, or missed gates are recorded with one click – no manual correction afterward.
4. Evaluation
Evaluation by category, best run, most consistent run, or combined run times. Every evaluation type is immediately available – no conversions, no Excel.
5. Share
Print certificates, export results, display ranking live on TV or display board. Share results via link or QR code – also with parents and participants directly on the slope.

CHRONOS
Professional Timing Unit
CHRONOS is the high-precision timepiece from Lympik, a proprietary development from Austria, built for professional sports. It transmits every time pulse including athlete identification via 4G in real time to the Lympik web app. Athletes identify themselves via NFC tag, wristband or lift card. With IP67 protection, 24-hour battery at -20°C and automatic power dialing, it runs reliably through every training day.

Timing competition
Cloud Software for Competitions
The Lympik web app has its own competition module: intuitive to use, without training. Participants can be imported here via CSV and start lists can be created. In operation, start numbers can be automatically assigned to times.
Various evaluation modes — e.g. smooth run or fastest run time — are available at the push of a button. Results can be exported directly as CSV or JSON.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a timing expert to use Lympik?

No. CHRONOS is deliberately kept simple with 4 buttons. Course and start list configuration is done in the Web-App – intuitive, without technical knowledge. Many ski schools set up their end-of-course race independently, without any external support.
Can results be displayed live on a display board?

Yes. Lympik supports live output on TV sets as well as professional display boards – via the METIS adapter for Alge display boards and LED video walls. This way, parents, spectators, and participants see the results in real-time.
In which countries does CHRONOS work?

CHRONOS has a 4G modem that is open to all networks and works wherever a mobile network is available. The system can therefore be used worldwide.
