The problem in alpine skiing training

In alpine skiing, hundredths of a second decide everything — every turn, every sector, every run. Yet training data is still captured manually in many teams: times noted on paper, GPS data evaluated separately, videos analyzed without data context. The result: hours of evaluation effort, incomplete pictures, and coaches spending more time on administration than on coaching.

Trainers need:
Precise timing without pen and paper
Turn analysis across the entire run
GPS and timing in one system
Easy operation directly on the slope
Video synchronized with performance data

The complete alpine skiing performance ecosystem

Timing without pen and paper

Whether you're standing on the slope, sitting on the lift, or already at the hotel — you won't miss any result. CHRONOS transmits every time impulse live to your smartphone via 4G. At the start, each athlete identifies themselves via NFC chip or lift card: fully automatic, without auxiliary personnel, without mix-ups.
Configuration is done with just a few clicks in the app — the evening before or directly on the slope. Only 4 buttons, no training needed. Live times can be instantly forwarded to the entire coaching team via link, WhatsApp, or QR code.

Setup in minutes

The timing system is ready before the first athlete starts. CHRONOS only needs to be turned on at the slope, the rest happens in the app. The specially developed start post is height-adjustable and positioned in seconds, the brush bar for the light barrier fits precisely on the snow pole. The course is configured via app: start, finish, any number of split times.
On site, CHRONOS only needs to be switched on. False triggers are a thing of the past with the adjustable reference time. Need more: each additional split time only requires another CHRONOS, a light barrier, and two snow poles.
Four buttons, one backpack, ready to go in minutes — in any weather, on any slope.

Real-time analysis directly on the slope

The Lympik Web-App evaluates all timing data in real-time and delivers the desired analyses directly to smartphone, tablet, or PC — while training is still running. Chronological view, grouping by athlete, grouping by run, or ranking: all perspectives are available at the push of a button and are automatically updated with each new run. Using sector times, each run can be compared and analyzed in seconds — enabling immediate feedback.
For those who want to go deeper: all data can be exported to Excel for individual evaluations. No waiting time, no office needed — analysis begins on the slope.

Turn analysis across the entire course

With OCULUS, run analysis is no longer limited to finish time and split times. The GPS tracker delivers 10 measurement points per second with exact position and speed data for every single point on the track — with an accuracy of under 1.5 meters. Every turn is documented traceably and shows precisely where time was gained or lost. The web app automatically assigns all runs to the correct athletes and enables direct comparison — athlete against athlete, run against run, sector by sector. Different views are available at the push of a button and are continuously updated with new data.Train like the Austrian Ski Team — at the push of a button, after every run.

Video analysis with GPS data — automatically synchronized

Upload video, done. The software automatically recognizes which athlete and which run is shown in the video — thanks to time synchronization by IRIS. Timing data from CHRONOS and GPS data from OCULUS are integrated into the video analysis in seconds. Speed, split times, and position data appear directly in the video. No more tedious renaming and cutting of videos! What used to take several hours of preparation is now done in seconds. Video, movement, and time — in one app, fully integrated.
