Timing Athletics

Whether football, handball or athletics, the Lympik system can be used to measure a wide range of athletic exercises and document them in our cloud.

Identification & Personalisation

By means of Lympik NFC tag, the participant can identify himself/herself on a CHRONOS device. This tag is uniquely linked to the athlete's profile in the Lympik WebApp. As soon as the athlete has completed the exercise, his/her personalised result is documented in the web app.

Different layouts configurable in the app

The exercise is not configured on the machines but in our web app. A CHRONOS device can act as start, finish or split time.

Showcase 1: Timing Hurdle race

In this configuration, the start corresponds to the target. The first trigger on the sensor serves as the start signal, the second trigger on the sensor serves as the target signal.

Showcase 2: Timing Slalom

In this configuration, start and target are separated. The trigger on the sensor of the first CHRONOS unit serves as the start signal, the trigger on the sensor of the second CHRONOS unit serves as the target signal.

Showcase 3: Timing Sprint with flying start

In this configuration, 3 CHRONOS devices are used. Between device 1 and 2 (sector 1) the start-up speed is measured and between device 2 and 3 (sector 2) the final speed is recorded.

Showcase 4: Timing Boomerang run

In this configuration, 2 CHRONOS units are used. The first device serves as the start and finish. In addition, two intermediate times are realised by means of the second device. This makes it possible to measure 3 sectors with only 2 devices.

Showcase 5: Timing Pendulum Runs

In this configuration, 3 CHRONOS units are used. The first unit serves as the start and the second split time. The second device serves as the first split time and the third device serves as the target. This exercise can be extended as desired with additional CHRONOS devices.

Showcase 6: Jump

In this configuration, only a CHRONOS device is used. The time between jump and landing is recorded and thus conclusions can be drawn about the jump height.

Showcase 7: Lap times

In this configuration, only one CHRONOS device is used. This serves as the start and starts a new lap every time the associated athlete is identified.

Documentation & Analysis

The measured times of all athletes are fully documented in our web app. The web app thus offers the coach a powerful tool to compare the performance of his athletes, as well as a detailed insight into the development of the athletes across training sessions. In the chronological view, notes can be added to each measurement. In addition to grouped evaluations, ranking lists and a detailed analysis of the individual sectors are available.
