Switching on & operation

To switch on the soundbox, press the power button (1), the status LED (6) and the battery LED (7) briefly light up white. The battery charge status is then indicated by the battery LED for 5 seconds, the status LED remains dark. In the event of a fault, the status LED lights up red and the Soundbox then switches off again. In the event of a fault, please contact your dealer.
After a successful system check (approx. 5 seconds), a test tone is played and the soundbox is now ready for use.
If the connected sensor (4) is successfully triggered, the status LED (6) flashes green and a sound is played (3).
To switch the device off, press and hold the power button until both LEDs light up white or pull out the battery plug.

Configuration & Update

Additional settings can be made by connecting your smartphone / PC to the Soundbox. To do this, the Soundbox must be switched on and set to configuration mode (Setup WiFi) by double-clicking the power button. The status LED now lights up blue continuously. Please switch to your smartphone and navigate to the WiFi settings. A network with the name "SBX + serial number of the device" should now appear among the available networks.
Please connect to the network and then click on the "Log in to WLAN" pop-up. You are now in configuration mode.

Configuration

Basic information such as the software version, the version of the operating system and the battery status in millivolts can be viewed in the upper part of the lConfiguration mode. The volume of the soundbox and the sleep mode can be configured in the field below. Sleep mode is active by default from 17:00 - 06:00. During this time, no triggers are detected and no sound is played. The time period can be changed using the start time (Sleep at) and the duration in hours (Sleep length).
Caution: The time must be set to UTC time!
A WLAN network (e.g. hotspot of your smartphone) can be stored in the field below using a name and password. This network is used for updating the software (see point Advanced). To access "Advanced Mode", please press Advanced below "Save wifi", you are now in "Advanced Mode" where further settings can be made.

Advanced

In addition to the basic information (software version, operating system version, battery status), the date, the sequential code and, if available, the cause of the error can also be viewed in the upper part of the "Advanced Mode". The "Set date" button is used to reset the time on the soundbox.
The "Restart" button restarts the device.
Press the "Update" button to set the soundbox to "Update mode". The status LED now lights up in a brighter blue. To carry out an update, the WLAN must be configured correctly beforehand (see Configuration)
The sounds can be managed in the Storage menu item under "Manage Files" .

Fault diagnosis

Before starting the fault diagnosis, please switch on the Soundbox (see Switching on & operation) or restart the Soundbox by disconnecting the battery plug and then starting the Soundbox.
Device does not start
Please check the battery and connect another battery if necessary (2). If the status LED (6) lights up red after starting up, but the battery LED is green or orange, please contact your dealer.

No sound is played
If the device boots up successfully but does not play any sound, there may be various reasons for this. Please carry out the following steps:
