Create profile and identify athletes

The first step in using the Lympik system is to create a profile. To do so, navigate to our webapp app.lympik.com. You can also scan the QR code on the back of the Lympik NFC chip with your phone camera - you will be automatically connected to our web app.

Registration is done with your email address and a password - it is also possible to log in quickly using Facebook or Google. If the account is to be used by different trainers in the future, please make sure to choose access data that you can pass on. Then contact your dealer - they will link your purchased equipment to your profile.

Identify athletes

In order for your athletes to receive personalized times, each athlete must be identified. They have to do this themselves in our webapp app.lympik.com (the athlete needs a free profile for this). Your athletes can also scan the QR code on the back of the Lympik NFC chip with their cell phone camera - this will automatically connect them to our web app.

The identification serves to immediately assign the measured results to the respective athlete. His times are automatically displayed in his own profile and all runs in which he has participated are automatically documented for him. In addition, various evaluation modalities (e.g. by athlete) are only possible if your athletes have personalized times.

The NFC chips are compatible with all Lympik modules, therefore it is recommended to leave the chip with the athlete for all future runs, competitions etc. In addition, a personalized chip works across all Lympik systems - this means the athlete can use their own chip with any coach or club with Lympik system. Detailed instructions on how to set up the chip and create the profile can be found by your athletes here. It is best to provide them with this link together with the chip.

Guest chips

It is also possible to provide an athlete with a guest chip. This option is used to display the name of the guest athlete in the evaluation. All the advantages of the personalized chip do not apply here, as this chip does not require an athlete profile, but is created via your coach profile.

To add a guest chip, navigate to the menu item "Identifications" in the left-hand column of the app. To open the menu on your cell phone, please press on the 3 dashes in the top right corner. Click on "Add identification" and add a chip by scanning a QR code or enter the code manually:

To turn this chip into a guest chip, click on the three dots (under Action) and activate the guest mode - don't forget to enter the name of your guest so that it is displayed in the evaluation. This way, the correct name will always be shown in the results and not your profile. When your guest returns their chip, you can deactivate guest mode again or change the name to a new guest. Whether guest mode is activated is displayed to the right of the name:

Note: Labeled results are not equivalent to personalized times (= use of NFC chips). Many functions are omitted if your athletes ride without identification. In the evaluation, your profile is used for the grouping for every anonymous result that was only labeled, so it is always advisable to use personalized chips or guest chips.
