To turn on IRIS, press the button on the device once. To turn off the device, press twice quickly and hold the second time (1-2 seconds) until IRIS starts blinking white. You can now release the button.
Immediately after switching on, the battery charge level is displayed - if IRIS briefly lights up green, the charge is over 50%, but if IRIS lights up yellow, the charge is over 30% and should be charged again for the next training session.
To charge IRIS, plug it in with the included micro USB charging cable. As soon as the battery is charged, the LED starts to flash rapidly in the color yellow. A fully charged battery is indicated by a solid yellow light.
It is recommended to update your IRIS device twice a year. The prerequisite for the update is that your IRIS device has a WLAN connection. To perform the update, press and hold the power button on your IRIS device until it flashes yellow and then blue. You can then leave the button off. When the update is complete, your IRIS will briefly glow green. How to connect your IRIS device to the Internet is explained in the next step.
The connection of your IRIS device to the Internet is set via your smartphone. To do this, press and hold the power button again directly after switching on the IRIS until the LED lights up orange/yellow. After that, a WiFi with the serial number appears in the WiFi settings of your smartphone. Click on the serial number of the IRIS device to be set up.
Once you have connected to it, a window will appear where you can specify two WiFi (only one entry is required). Now simply enter the WiFi name and password and confirm the entry. You can also use your cell phone hotspot to connect to the Internet.
This step only needs to be performed once for each IRIS if the same WiFi is always used. If you want to use a different WiFi, repeat this step. The connection to the Internet is only required for updates.
